The One Two Tree story began during the Christmas of 2011 when we decided to craft our first family Christmas tree out of leftover hardwood in response to the throwaway culture of the Christmas season. The result was an eco-friendly, modern re-vision of the traditional tree that can be celebrated for years to come.
Sticking to our roots, One Two Tree has grown to become a purveyor of beautifully designed homewares, handcrafted and made sustainably in Australia. All our products are made using only the finest natural materials and are designed with a focus on sustainability. Our plywood is a high-grade Australian hoop pine, grown in managed plantations in the Yarraman region of Queensland. Choosing Australian timber not only supports our local industry, but also minimises transportation emissions and our environmental impact on this planet.
One Two Tree utilises a combination of made-to-order and small batch production. All our plywood pieces are handcrafted and finished with expert care, love and attention in our workshop in Melbourne. Our linens are hand-sewn, and our ceramics are handmade. This semi-bespoke operation ensures a quality handmade product is delivered to you. One Two Tree supports artisan craftsmanship, hand making and local production.
